How it Works

Novatek-Electro OB-215 (x2)

Acts as:

Sensor controller

Reads the value from pressure (4-20mA) or level (0-10V) sensor and sends it to the Modbus RTU (RS-485) line. Sensor can be installed on the pipe or on the hydro accumulator.

Soft starter controller

Controls the soft starter of the pump through the embedded 5A relay. Only needed in case when there is no inverter installed. Modbus-compatible inverter can be connected directly to the OPCB-221B.

Impulse meter counter

Counts the impulses from the water meter and sends it to the Modbus RTU line.

Overvis OPCB-221B

Acts as:

Communication controller

Collects data from all connected devices by Modbus RTU and sends it to the cloud. Also sends commands to the devices providing remote control.

Inverter data reader

In case if inverter is connected to the OPCB-221B, additional data is gathered, such as frequency, current, voltage, power, etc.

Overvis Cloud

Stores and collects the data from the devices

Data is read in realtime or with 1 minute interval. Communication with the devices is fully encrypted.

Provides the interface for your operators

Operators can view the realtime operation state, manage the scheduling and turn on/off the pump remotely.

Use your own equipment

Overvis pumping solution is software based, it can be configured for any available Modbus hardware. Our set is just a convenient way to get started quickly.

To connect your own equipment and to the Overvis cloud, you will need the following:

Modbus-compatible communication controller – it is possible to use Raspberry Pi 3+ or other single-board computer with our firmware and USB/RS-485 connector.
Modbus-compatible I/O module for sensors data reporting.
Modbus-compatible impulse counter for meter data reporting.
Soft-starter or inverter with Modbus-compatible interface for your pumping equipment.
